You don’t have to stick with traditional court colors. Acrylic sport coatings can be customized to match your space, including bold combinations like this two-tone red surface.

Color Options

With a wide range of colors available, you can get the design you need on your court including:

  • Team colors
  • Custom logo
  • Line configurations
  • Perimeter finishes

Colors are resistant to damage from UV rays so they maintain their vibrancy for longer. Whether you want a classic forest green for a tennis court or a different bold color to match the theme of your space, we can make it happen.

We have standard colors to choose from, and we can also create custom colors for clients with specific needs.

Pickleball courts aren’t just for clubs and parks. Acrylic coatings make it easy to create a private court at home with a clean, durable finish.

SUNDEK’s commitment to quality craftsmanship, paired with Nova’s track record of developing industry-leading products, results in courts built for durability, playability, and long-term satisfaction.

Different color schemes help distinguish tennis and pickleball courts within the same facility.

Applying a Court Coating to an Existing Surface

To get a multisport court, you don’t have to install a new slab of concrete. With resurfacing, SUNDEK of Nashville can take your existing concrete slab and transform it into a court, even if it has some damage. We use products specially formulated to address issues such as:

  • Hairline cracks
  • Pavement defects up to 1-inch wide
  • Uneven surfaces
  • Spalling
  • Other pavement defects
High-performance acrylic coatings are used on professional courts to deliver consistent play, durability, and a clean, uniform appearance.

Maintaining Your Sports Court

Routine maintenance helps extend the life and appearance of your sports court. The amount of upkeep required will vary depending on the surrounding environment. For example, courts located near trees or landscaping may require more frequent cleaning due to falling leaves and debris.

Here are some general maintenance recommendations:

  • Keep the court surface clean by removing loose dirt and debris as needed.
  • Sweep or blow off dirt regularly. If debris is left on the surface during play, it can act like sandpaper and gradually wear down the coating.
  • During seasons when the court is being used regularly, it should be hosed off with water and allowed to dry completely.
  • When hosing off, use normal water pressure (approximately 70 lbs. per square inch or less).
  • Remove stains by applying a mild cold-water detergent and scrub with a stiff nylon brush or soft-bristle broom.
  • Repair hairline cracks promptly using the Novacaulk system to help prevent further damage.
  • Avoid allowing players to wear black-soled shoes on the court, as they can leave marks on the surface.
  • To remove black sole marks, clean the area using a mild solution of water and liquid dish detergent with a stiff nylon brush. Avoid using a rag, as it may make the surface slippery.
  • Address mildew growth immediately to help maintain a safe, clean playing surface.
    • Mix 1 gallon of water, 1 cup of HTH, and 2 tablespoons of liquid dish detergent.
    • Let the solution sit for 20 minutes, then scrub the surface using a stiff nylon brush or soft-bristle broom.
    • Do not use a rag, as it may leave the surface slick.
    • Rinse thoroughly after cleaning.
