At this pool deck in Thompson’s Station, TN, we installed a pool deck and patio space using Classic Texture. Our clients love it for its slip resistance and comfort, as the texture prevents it from getting unbearably hot during summer.Since 1984, Sundek of Nashville has been serving the communities of Middle Tennessee with our award winning decorative concrete resurfacing team and Sundek products.
Our story began when John Bonney started Sundek of Nashville in 1984 after years in the pool industry. John added his nephews Andy & David Guy into the fold as the years went on. Together they built a company based on integrity, consistency, and commitment to their customer base here in Middle Tennessee. When John decided to step away and enjoy retirement, Andy & David took the reigns and continued the legacy. Andy & David built on the pride in quality and commitment to excellence instilled by John. The partnership would last until 2018 when Andy decided to step back from running the day-to-day operations and solely focus on Sales.
In 2018 Doug Snider and Will Burley joined the Sundek of Nashville team and both assumed leadership roles within the organization. Their guidance and leadership have been a tremendous asset to our organization. Doug, Will, Andy, & David formed a formattable team that navigated through the tenuous times of COVID and the uncertainty it presented. The commitment to our customers and to quality Sundek products never wavered during this unpredictable time. Andy Guy at the end of 2022 after a stellar career of installing, selling, and promoting Sundek products in Middle Tennessee. David Guy passed away unexpectantly in September of 2023 and he is missed every day. Both of the Guys have left an indelible mark on our organization and will always be a part of our story.
Today, Will Burley and his team continue to provide Middle Tennessee with quality Sundek products and installations. From 1984 until today Sundek of Nashville has always put integrity, quality, and a commitment to excellence at the forefront of our business. We look forward to serving you for many more years to come.

We only use tried-and-true SUNDEK products and are an authorized SUNDEK contractor. SUNDEK launched their first product, Classic Texture, in 1970. How long does it take to do a job?
Depending on size, condition, and weather, a typical installation takes approximately 2 to 8 dry clear days.
Is it cool to walk on?
SUNDEK is much cooler than typical gray concrete, exposed aggregate, pavers, tile, and even epoxy rock applications. Learn more about cool coatings for pool decks.
How thick is a SUNDEK coating?
SUNDEK coatings are about as thick as 2 quarters stacked on top of each other (just under a quarter-inch). However, SUNDEK can be used as a blending tool to feather uneven surfaces up to 2 inches deep.
